But I wanted to stop in and say, "hello," to everyone.

School started last week for the boys. It was a rough week for them because they have started to play in bed at night, so they don't fall asleep until after 9, but they wake up at the crack of dawn. Crabbiness is a huge factor in the house right now! Anyway, they both enjoy school and ask every night if they are going to school the next day. I am quite pleased with both of their teachers, so I think we are in for a nice year.

Bowling with the boys was a blast! In fact, we went bowling again last week and are going to go again this afternoon after naps (They must take a nap to go!) Today's adventure is a reward for Mr. P because he has finally cleared are last ptraining hurdle....we hope!

Life is a bit hectic right now and I'm just trying to keep everything organized and running smoothly! Be sure to keep your eyes open, I have two huge announcements to make soon!

I know I've been missing.....

Exhausted....

I took the boys to one of our local amusement parks today. We were at the park from 9 am to 4:30 pm. I didn't think we would make it that long, but we did! Needless to say, I am exhausted now. We had an exhilarating day, though. This was our first visit to the park, so everything was fresh and exciting. Plus, at their age they have such an enthusiasm for everything...whether they like it or not they definitely let me know!

It was so hot the heat index HAD to be over 100 degrees. It was a HOT day! :)

Therefore, I was at a loss as to why the boys were so crazy in the car home. They were laughing, screaming, and playing games the entire 1.5 hours it took us to get home! (I had been looking forward to a nice quiet drive while they napped.) I couldn't figure out why they WEREN'T tired. Then I realized - they didn't WALK all day like I did...they rode in the stroller so we could get around faster! Must be nice to have your own personal stroller pusher! No wonder I'm so tired I pushed around 70 lbs of boy and 20 lbs of stroller all day!

Now I'm off to treat myself to some popcorn - yummy!

I also want you to know that I will have some exciting news soon! (No, I'm not pregnant! Why is that every one's first question when a woman my age says she has news! LOL...this news is digital!)

How Hot is It?

Phew, is it ever hot around here! I went for a walk/run with the boys today (they ride their bikes) and by time we got home, we were all sweating like crazy. I made sure we had water with us and made the boys drink more when we got home. It sure is the dog days of summer. At least it is getting a little bit darker earlier, so bedtime is getting easier, especially since school starts next week!

We did our first day of school shopping today. The boys were so cute. They were so excited to pick out their very own shirts (we have NO need for more shorts!). We went to The Children's Place and Old Navy. We found zip at Old Navy; the entire boys section was filled with WINTER clothes. Uhm, it's AUGUST...let's get a grip...we don't need winter close this early anywhere in the states.

Anyway, J picked out this shirt: It's totally cool...A large number is also on the back.
And P picked out this shirt: (I will also buy him a shirt that matches Jackson for the first day. I thought Old Navy would have cute collared shirts, but they weren't as nice as TCP.)
That's our excitement for the day! :) Now if I could just get them to take their naps!
